We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Marketing Manager role with a global biotechnology company specialising in antibodies and related products. This is a permanent position that will be based out of the Golden Triangle region of the United Kingdom.
PURPOSE
The Marketing Manager will develop exciting strategic marketing programs to drive demand and lead generation supporting the sales initiatives and business objectives. Using their scientific knowledge and firm understanding of the life science industry, this person will also identify and recommend new marketing opportunities and work to integrate and align activities with the overall marketing strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with sales to drive account based marketing campaigns and programs to build the sales pipeline at named accounts
- Develop personalized marketing campaigns to increase demand generation and capture market opportunity based on data analysis
- Map organizational decision-makers, identify key contacts within named accounts and area of focus and drive strategies for alignment
- Develop strategies to grow share with key consumer segments
- Measure, report and optimize marketing campaigns
- Ability to work on concurrent projects which require both strategic thinking as well as effective tactical execution
- Ensure consistency with the Company brand and messaging
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S., B.A.), or higher, in a life science discipline or a related area.
- Minimum of 3 years’+ experience in a marketing role at a life science company
- 3 years of extensive experience using MS Office (particularly Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
- 4+ years hand on research experience in an academic or industry life sciences laboratory desired, but not required
- Good working knowledge of operations and workflows in life sciences research with reagents, instruments and relevant applications
- Experience working with a marketing automation platform
- 1 year of marketing experience supporting a sales team
- Demonstrated knowledge of on-line and off-line marketing tactics
- Ability to meet scheduled deliverables and timelines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in fast changing, team environment in cross functional teams
- Proven experience in growing new markets; some experience or proven understanding of antibody reagents market; knowledge of antibody related technologies or IHC diagnostics laboratory workflow & needs would be highly beneficial
