We are currently seeking qualified candidates for a Head of Project Management role with a leading global provider of contract services to the biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical industries. This is a permanent position that will be based out of Glasgow, Scotland.
PURPOSE & RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a pivotal role in our Client’s business as it manages our strategic accounts within Project Management. The Head of Project Management will be responsible for leadership, providing direction and supervision of a team of Project Managers, Program Managers & Contract Project Managers. You will be responsible for workload management and capacity planning for project management resources, and all actions should align with the overall goals for the global Project Management Organisation (PMO). You may also be called upon to provide project leadership for key projects at times.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- BSc in Biological Sciences or similar is preferable
- Certification in Project Management
- Ten years project management experience
- Demonstrable line management & leadership experience
- Experience gained with similar industry
- Excellent communicator, dealing directly and effectively with clients, operations teams, and commercial colleagues, globally
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- A proactive approach to all aspects of customer service
- Personnel management experience
